Peter Parker No Longer Spider-Man After “Death of Spider-Man” Story
Marvel has announced that after the shocking events of Death of Spider-Man, the sold out storyline currently running through Ultimate Comics Spider-Man and Ultimate Comics Avengers Vs Ultimates, there will be a new Spider-Man and a new character under the mask. Something’s happened to Peter Parker and here comes an all-new Spider-Man…in an all-new costume!

Oh no. I grew up with Peter Parker. This is major news.
Well, good old Peter is still around in the main Marvel Universe. The Ultimate Universe is a different reality kind of with its own versions of Spidey, the X-Men and all the other characters.
Well, now that I’ve had time to accept the loss, I suppose my only option now is to design my own Spidey suit and start swinging from the webs myself.
I wholeheartedly support this line of thinking. Please take photos. ; )

Is this new spider man part of the avengers like the previous spider man?
I don’t think he is yet, although he has met The Ultimates (the Ultimate Universe version of the Avengers), most recently in the just finished Spider-Men x-over mini-series.
