Now this is big news. Like they did with Ultimate Thor #1, Marvel are releasing every ish of Spidey’s death to comic shops and digital stores at the same time. The press release is below, but fear not – this is the Ultimate version of Spider-Man that’s being killed (presumably temporarily) not the Spider-Man from the main Marvel Universe. This is good news for those who like reading their comics on a screen as much as paper, and for Marvel to choose such a high profile story for this move, obviously they believe in the future of their expanding digital customers.
